Matlali consisting of 40 villas
In 2010 Hamak was hired in collaboration with the architectural firm Jaime Barba to reconceptualize and transform a timeshare and villas project called Puerto Bahía located in La Cruz Huanacaxtle, Nayarit Mexico, into a hotel operation. This transformation included rebranding, and a whole redesign for the 40 villas, restaurant/bar, pools, beach club and diverse common areas.
In 2013 Hamak started operations from “Matlali Hotel” and continued operating until 2015, the year in which the owners decided to convert the Hotel to a “Vacation Club” project with an “All Inclusive” system.
